In an amusing turn of events, Infinity Ward is doubling back on certain changes from the latest update. The developers had brought in some significant changes to Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare just a day back. One of the biggest changes was replacing the Bounty Contracts from Warzone with Most Wanted contracts. However, they have now reverted back to the Bounty Contracts.

As we reported right after the latest update, fans were livid when Infinity Ward removed the popular feature of Bounty Contracts. Instead, they introduced a new type of contract called Most Wanted in Battle Royale and Plunder. With Most Wanted, players could place a contact on their own head, making them the target for every other player on the map. If players survived the contract duration, they could successfully revive their entire squad.

Soon after the update went live, though, fans took to social media to voice their disappointment. It wasn’t that fans hated the Most Wanted contract, it was more about the removal of the Bounty Contracts. Check out our full report on the same here.

Bounty Contracts Return to Call of Duty Warzone

Turns out, Infinity Ward was listening to the fans. They have overturned this decision just 24 hours after making it.

Apart from bringing back Bounty Contracts, they have also made a few other minor changes. Check out all the changes below.

This is not even the first time Infinity Ward has overturned a change in call of Duty Warzone following fan uproar. Earlier, fans disgruntled when the developers removed the Trios playlist. After a barrage of complaints and negative feedback on the change, developers backtracked on the decision and brought Trios right back.

While Warzone has been a massive success since its release in March, developers have had to work hard to keep the user base satisfied. One huge problem that remains is the huge number of hackers troubling honest games in the shooter.

What are your thoughts on the Most Wanted contract episode? Glad the developers decided to bring back Bounty Contracts?
